Every job, the same way.
ANSI Z133 practices
We follow ANSI Z133, the national safety standard for tree care work, on every job.
OSHA guidelines
Our crews work to OSHA guidelines for equipment, job sites and the people on them.
A plan before the first cut
Every job starts with a walk-through: what the tree could hit, where the lines are, and how each piece comes down.
Lines first
We never work a tree on or near a wire until the utility has made the line safe.
Site and traffic control
Cones, a clear drop zone and traffic control on roadside jobs. Nobody stands under a load.
PA 811 before we dig
Stump removal, grading and excavation start with a PA One Call notice so buried lines are marked.
We wait out the worst
No climbing or running machines in lightning, high wind or ice. We make it safe, then come back.
Fully insured
Certificate of insurance on request, naming your association, business or municipality when you need it.
Safety questions.
What safety standards do you follow?
ANSI Z133 safety practices for tree care and OSHA guidelines, on every job.
Are you insured?
Yes. We send a certificate of insurance on request.
Should I cut a storm-damaged tree myself?
No. A tree on a house or a line is under tension and can spring back or roll when cut. Stay clear and call the storm line: 717-743-5871.
Do you call 811 before digging?
Yes. We place a PA One Call notice before any stump removal, grading or excavation below grade.
Tell us about the job.
Send the form or call the shop. We normally call back within the hour to set a time to walk the job.
Tree on a house, a car or a line? Skip the form and call.
