Questions

Clearing questions.

Something else? Call the shop at 717-743-5871.

What happens to the trees and brush?

Logs can be hauled off or cut and stacked for you. Brush is chipped, hauled or mulched in place. [CONFIRM]

Are stumps removed?

For building sites, yes: ground or pulled so the ground can be graded. For field edges, we can cut them flush. [CONFIRM]

Will it grow back?

Invasive shrubs and tree-of-heaven resprout from roots. Grading, seeding and follow-up treatment keep it from coming back.

Do I need a permit to clear land?

Small residential clearing usually does not. Larger earth disturbance can need an erosion and sediment plan through the county conservation district. We tell you what applies. [CONFIRM]

How long does it take?

It depends on the acreage and how thick it is. [CONFIRM: typical pace] We give you a schedule with the price.
