Water problems we fix.
How a drainage job goes.
-
Find where the water goes
We walk it with you, ideally after a rain, and trace where the water comes from and where it needs to go.
-
Plan the fix
Regrading, a swale, a French drain, downspout lines or stone, sized to the problem.
-
Dig and grade
PA 811 is called first. Then we dig, set pipe or stone and shape the ground to drain.
-
Stabilize
Seed and straw, matting or stone on anything bare so it holds in the next storm.
Fixed without new problems.
-
Not onto the neighbor We plan the fix so your water is not simply pushed onto the property next door.
-
Streams and wetlands Work near streams and wetlands can need state permits. We tell you what applies before we start.
-
Erosion and sediment Pennsylvania requires an erosion and sediment control plan for larger earth disturbance, and a permit for bigger sites. We tell you what applies and keep bare ground covered.
-
PA 811 before we dig Pennsylvania law requires a One Call notice before digging with powered equipment. We place it before every job so buried lines are marked first.
-
Fully insured Certificate of insurance on request.

Will a French drain fix my wet yard?
Sometimes. Often regrading or a swale works better, or the two together. We look at where the water comes from before we recommend anything.
Can you stop water getting into my basement?
Outside, yes: grading the ground away from the house and carrying downspout water off helps most wet basements. We do not do interior waterproofing.
Do you work on HOA and township basins?
Yes. We clear trees and brush out of detention basins and swales, and restore their shape so they drain as designed.
Do I need a permit?
Most yard drainage does not. Work near streams or wetlands, or a large area of disturbed ground, can need permits. Some townships also review drainage changes. We tell you what applies.
